Job Overview
We are hiring a Remote Human Resources Manager to lead and manage our HR operations. This role involves recruiting talent, setting HR policies, handling employee relations, and implementing systems to support remote teams. You’ll play a critical role in strengthening SSC Designs’ workplace culture while maintaining compliance and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end hiring including job postings, applicant screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Develop and maintain employee handbooks, HR documentation, and internal policies
- Oversee team engagement, performance review systems, and organizational structure
- Provide confidential HR support for employee questions, disputes, and needs
- Ensure legal compliance with employment and contractor regulations in the U.S.
- Collaborate with leadership to shape team culture and long-term workforce strategy
- Manage internal tools and workflows for tracking HR-related data
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in human resources (preferred) or people operations
- Familiarity with remote HR practices and employment regulations in the U.S.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving, mediation, and organizational abilities
- Experience with HR tools like Gusto, BambooHR, or similar platforms
- Background in startups, nonprofits, or creative industries a plus

- Title: Remote Human Resources Manager
- Type: Full-time - 40 hours per week)
- Location: Remote – U.S.-based preferred
- Rate: $35/hour
- Start Date: July 2025
